These are fine, I just would like to disagree with the earlier comment about the sizing. I am a 33 as well, and based on the earlier comment I decided to go with the large rather than the medium. Well, that was probably a bad choice. They have an elastic waste band so it is not like they are falling down now, but they are very baggy - I could fit both legs in each pant leg, which is not what I am looking for and not what the picture shows.
