I found these shorts to be very comfortable. I have never owned a pair of bike shorts, so I had to use the sizing chart to figure out what size to buy. I found the fit of these shorts to be true to size. Even after a hot, sweaty ride, the seams or rubber leg strips did not irretate me. The waist did not slip down, nor did the legs ride up. The heavier padding makes long rides more comfortable. Resently, I went on a twenty mile bike ride in windy 30 degree weather. I put a pair of thermal tights over these shorts and was still very comfortable with the heavier padding.
